Now broadcasting from Columbia

Well it’s official, Stephanie and I are now homeowners. We closed on the house Monday and haven’t slowed down since. We’ve been buying furniture, painting, and getting the utilities etc set up. We just got cable TV and Internet around noon (central time) today. You don’t appreciate high speed Internet access until you’ve gone without it for a while. :-)

Tuesday we are headed to Arkansas for a few days. We’re not flying out of the Columbia airport this time, we already learned that lesson. We’re renting a car and driving to the St. Louis airport, and flying from there to Little Rock. After a couple days there, we’re headed back to Knoxville with Stephanie’s mom to get ready for the wedding.

Congrats, Dan! Been on the new house boat (not new houseboat, unfortunately) since last August, and I don’t regret it a bit.
